Enabling FTP ot TFTP on 6900

Hi Everyone,

I need to upgrade AOS on 6900.
Currently i can login to switch via local password.

Need to know how can i config the switch to be tftp or ftp server ?
Also can i use same local password for ftp also?

afaik SCP is also possible.
Don't know whether tftp is supported

tftp is supported. But switch is the tftp clients. So you need to login at cli to use the tftp commands. For SCP you need a login with ssh access.

if the switch acts as ftp-server than you need
> aaa authentication ftp local
you have to use your pc as ftp client (f.e. filezilla or WS-FTP).

If the switch acts as ftp or tftp client than you don't need specific rights for it (you only need cli access for your put/get commands).
