Re: Voice Mail 4645 with 2 Appliance server
In addition to the previous mail, It is a redundant system with the appliance servers
Re: Voice Mail 4645 with 2 Appliance server
Applications/ voice mail - you have item - Voice Mail CPU Name - this is name of your AS.

Re: Voice Mail 4645 with 2 Appliance server
If you have set CPUa as your CS+4645...when it goes for a reboot the 4645 will not be accessible until it comes up again either as a standby/main
if you need 4645 to be 'always accessible' then your 4645 VM should sit on another board(CS-1/CS-2 or appliance)

Re: Voice Mail 4645 with 2 Appliance server
I have the following setup: 1 cabinet holds the primary CS-2 call server and the CS-2 4645 voice mail. The second cabinet holds the standby CS-2 call server. I understand the voicemail is available to both main and standby, it only reboots between switches.
It is correct to assume that this is not a redundant voice mail system ? If the first cabinet looses power there will be no voicemail CS-2 to access.
My question is how can I get a redundant voicemail system? Do I need to install a secondary CS-2 with voice mail or the call server CS/2 should be installed as a mixed CS/voicemail ? Or is it another option ? Thank you!
